Cuenca
Cuenca is a charming colonial city nestled into a valley in the Andes mountains, with around 400,000 inhabitants. Located in southern Ecuador it enjoys a mild climate year-round. It is a mix of old and new: a quaint walk down a cobblestone street can get you to a movie theater and at night it is possible to go to a cafe and listen to live Andean music, go to a rock concert, or put on your dancing shoes for some salsa at a discoteca. CEDEI is conveniently located in the heart of the colonial center, and students will have every opportunity to get to know the city inside and out.
