Marketing Strategy

Analysis of marketing strategy as applied to product development, market analysis and pricing, control of marketing activities and use of distribution channels. Integrative course using case studies. Education
Diversity and Culturally Responsible Teaching
[SAU: EDUC 300, 3 credits]
This course focuses on the study of inter-group and minority group relationships as they are applicable to the educational system, specifically addressing how such relationships can enrich yet complicate the classroom community. An examination of multicultural, non-sexist teaching, as well as personal philosophies of education will be conducted to bridge the realities of multicultural education with best practice and in order to promote the intellectual and personal growth of students with regards to diversity as individuals, teachers, and members of communities. Elementary Spanish I

Beginning spoken and written Spanish with emphasis on the sound system and the basic structure of the language. Instructor: Staff
Elementary Spanish II

A continuation of skills development in spoken and written Spanish with further study of major structures. Prerequisite: Spanish 101 or at least one year of high school Spanish. Instructor: Staff
Intermediate Spanish I
[SAU: SPAN 201, 3 credits / SU: SPAN 201, 3 credits]
Review of fundamentals, wider mastery of Spanish idiomatic usage, oral and aural skills. Reading of Spanish texts. Prerequisites: Spanish 102 or 2 years of high school Spanish. Instructor: Staff
Intermediate Spanish II

Intensive grammar, oral practice and introduction to expository writing. Prerequisite: Spanish 201 or three years of high school Spanish. Instructor: Staff
Oral and Written Composition
[SAU: SPAN 301, 3 credits / SU: SPAN 310, 3 credits]
Develops facility to sustain oral and written discussion in Spanish. Students practice the basic patterns of Spanish syntax and develop vocabulary by preparing frequent oral and written compositions. Prerequisite: Spanish 202 or equivalent. Instructor: Staff
Elements of Latin American Culture
