2005 Summer Spanish Program in the Andes

Flight Arrangements

Following is information that will assist you in booking your domestic connection to Miami and back home. Remember that the program fee covers the international flight from Miami to Ecuador (and return from Peru), but not the domestic connection between your point of departure and Miami.

Meeting the group on 8 June

Miami International Airport is the designated group meeting point. The group flight is American 931, which departs Miami at 7:10 PM and arrives in Quito at 10:08 PM. To allow for sufficient connection time, you should plan to arrive in Miami no later than 4:10 PM on Wednesday, 8 June 2005.

Returning home on 24 August

For the return home, the group flight is American 2110, which departs Lima at 7:30 AM and arrives in Miami at 2:10 PM. We suggest that you allow three hours for immigration, baggage claim, customs and domestic connection check-in. Therefore, you should plan to depart Miami any time after 5:10 PM on Wednesday, 24 August 2005.

Once you purchase your domestic ticket, please e-mail us with the following details:

• Date and time of arrival in Quito
• Departure city and airport
• Airline
• Flight number(s)
• Connecting cities and flights (if applicable)

We recommend that you book your ticket through StudentUniverse, which offers discounted student and faculty fares; however, feel free to purchase your tickets from the agency of your choice.
