2005 Summer TEFL Program

Flight Arrangements

Following is information that will assist you in booking your flights to Ecuador and back home.

ARRIVAL: You should plan to arrive in Guayaquil, on 1 July 2005, the date that the Summer TEFL Program begins. Keep in mind that if you arrive in Guayaquil earlier than this date, you will be responsible for your own airport-hotel transfer and lodging (however, we can assist you with hotel reservations). A CEDEI staff member will meet the designated group flight, American 931, which departs Miami at 6:16 PM and arrives in Guayaquil at 9:22 PM. We can also arrange to meet other flights.

DEPARTURE: You should plan your return flight to depart from Quito, on 7 August 2005, the date that the Summer TEFL Program ends. The designated group flight is American 966, which departs Quito at 9:45 AM and arrives in Miami at 2:53 PM.

Once you purchase your ticket, please e-mail us with the following details:

• Date and time of arrival in Quito
• Departure city and airport
• Airline
• Flight number(s)
• Connecting cities and flights (if applicable)

We recommend that you book your ticket through StudentUniverse, which offers discounted student and faculty fares; however, feel free to purchase your tickets from the agency of your choice.
