The following is information about the school with the desire to inform and involve you in this system.

Guide for International Parents

METHOD:

English as an instrumental language

We encourage the entry of children in the early stages of preschool because in this way they will have the opportunity to be in an English-speaking environment, allowing them to absorb the language and facilitate the internalization of English.
To enter school at later levels, the child needs to catch up to the level of their grade level. The school offers three months of free tutorials since many school activities are performed in English.

FOREIGN TEACHERS:

All foreign teachers are native English speakers and professionals in education. We have had teachers from the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the UK. Our French teachers are native speakers as well.

MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION:

Multiculturalism is an aspect of the philosophy of the school where our greatest asset is diversity Through exposure to diversity the human being learns to accept others. Learning to recognize and learning to live with others is where we learn the value of being human: to be different.
Therefore, participating teachers from around the world share not only their knowledge but also their culture, their way of doing things, their history, and their celebrations. Each month we investigate a country in the world, learn about its people, dress, major festivals, food, animals, geographical features, and traditions. We are aware that only by knowing our world can we learn to live together and to reflect on our own culture, reinforcing our values and acting to disrupt things which go against our values.

TEACHING:

Throughout the school, we incorporate the methodology of Multiple Intelligences. Mathematical/Logic, Language/linguistic, Spatial, Naturistic, Intra and Inter Personal, Musical, and Kinesthetic are eight intelligences that every human being possesses. We consider each child individually and encourage the development of the different intelligences. Each intelligence is strengthened in English and Spanish.
Once a month each classroom develops a small museum based on a topic of interest of the children. This museum is created with photos, models, and figures. Topics are researched and presentations are produced with help from parents. Thus far, we have had museums that range from those that recreated the Egyptian culture to others that recalled the history of the Ecuadorian currency .
