EducationUSA is a network of hundreds of advising centers all over the world supported by the U.S. Department of State.  Each year, EducationUSA advisers help millions of international students with accurate, comprehensive, and current information about how to apply to U.S. colleges and universities. EducationUSA staff also work with U.S. higher education professionals to promote international student recruitment.

In Ecuador, there are three EducationUSA centers: one in Quito, one in Guayaquil, and one in Cuenca.

EducationUSA’s mission is to promote higher education in the United States and assist students in accessing U.S. higher education opportunities.  We offer help with the entire process, from searching for programs of study to filling out application forms and soliciting the student visa, at no cost.  We also have a reference library with materials to help search for programs and scholarships, and preparation materials for standardized exams.

The advising center in Cuenca is staffed by EducationUSA advisers who have first-hand experience studying in the United States.  Advisers adhere to EducationUSA ethical standards, abide by the EducationUSA policy to refrain from working with commission-based recruitment agents, and have U.S. State Department-approved training about the U.S. higher education system and application processes.

Our center in Cuenca is located in CEDEI’s central building, in Gran Colombia 11-02 y General Torres.  For more information about the other centers in Ecuador, please visit this page.

The hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9H00 to 18H00

Wednesday: 9H00 to 19H00
