Dunia Cabrera began working at CEDEI in 2002, and was in charge of volunteer projects and internships for students of international programs.  In 2003 she was assigned the coordination of host families, student welfare and the visas processes for foreign staff. Because of her experience, she was appointed Administrative Director of International Programs department in 2010. Dunia works hard to ensure the students feel like they have a family and support outside of their home country. She considers the best part of her job is when she can witness the close bond created by the students and their host families.   Diana Espinoza was born in Cuenca, Ecuador.  She has worked as the Academic Director of International Programs at the Foundation of Centers for Interamerican Studies, CEDEI, since 2011.Diana has a degree in economics from the ‘Universidad Estatal’ of Cuenca-Ecuador. She completed her postgraduate studies in Pedagogical Sciences with a minor in Curriculum Design and Training; Finances and Stock Market; Art with a minor in Art Theory and Philosophy. She has been a university professor of Business and Project Investigation for 12 years. This has allowed her to connect with young people and understand their vision of the world with an open and advanced mentality. This is the reason it is so gratifying for her to work with students that choose to study abroad and who are always interested in learning about new cultures and realities.
