Giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, pelicans and other species make up the exotic wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. This place, considered Natural Heritage of Humanity, will be visited by foreign students of the Fall Semester group, which studies in the Department of International Programs of CEDEI.
This group will travel to the Enchanted Islands in the coming days, to visit places like Puerto Ayora, Baltra, Santa Fe, Isabela, and Santa Cruz. The university students will have the opportunity to observe the giant tortoises in their natural habitat and cross the famous lava tunnels. The tour includes a view of the flamingos lagoon, which is the site of greatest reproduction of these species and then go to the Tintoreras islet, where students will take a hike and snorkel in the Lobería.
This trip is part of the agenda of activities organized by the Department of International Programs of CEDEI. The Fall Semester group has been in our center since the end of August and will remain in Ecuador until December 6.
