Studying in the United States is a great option for those looking for university alternatives abroad. This this reason, on January 16 & 18 there will be information sessions organized by EducationUSA.

The session on January 16, starting at 5:00 p.m., will be led by Diane Arguijo from the San Mateo Colleges of Silicon Valley (California, USA). This talk will focus on the benefits of studying in community colleges. She will expand upon the educational opportunities offered by Cañada College, College of San Mateo, and Skyline College, all of which are located in the San Francisco metropolitan area and Silicon Valley. Community colleges offer 2-year technical degrees called Associates Degrees. Theses 2 years of courses can be transferred to any university to complete an undergraduate degree in more than 80 fields including business, accounting, engineering, sciences, math, biotechnology, and computer sciences. In general, students at community colleges have the advantage of learning in an atmosphere influenced by innovation, high-tech, and the entrepreneurial culture of the southern Silicon Valley as well as in the rich cultural and cosmopolitan character of northern San Francisco.

Additionally, there will be another webinar on January 18 at 5:00 p.m. about the study possibilities offered at the University of Baltimore’s Merrick School of Business (Maryland, USA).
