Foreign students from Lewis - Clark College (Idaho, United States) will arrive in Ecuador this week. They come to this country to continue their university studies in the Department of International Programs of CEDEI. In the coming days, the students will tour some beaches of the Ecuadorian coast.

In the first part of their tour, they will do a city tour through Guayaquil and different touristic places of this city. They will also receive general instructions for their stay in Ecuador to proceed smoothly. Afterwards, students will travel to Puerto López, a small fishing village on the Ecuadorian coast. They will also visit the Isla de la Plata, which is located in front of the coasts of Manabí. This place is characterized by its diversity of flora and fauna.

After this short tour, students will travel to Cuenca and arrive at the CEDEI Foundation. In this place they will be received by the families that will host them during their stay, as well as by the staff of the International Programs department.

In the Azuay's capital, the group will visit the historic part of this city and the Pumapungo Museum. These and other visits will be develop later and are intended to show different perspectives on Latin American culture, during the program they will take classes in Spanish.
